Level 3 provide a rich and diverse program for all students. Across the 4 classrooms we encourage the students to follow the 5 Tribes agreements of Mutual Respect, Personal Best, Appreciation/No Put Downs, Participation/Right to Pass and Attentive Listening. We use many different situations in a range of learning topics and environments to allow the students to accept and include everyone.

Group work and individual learning activities are provided for across the curriculum.  In 2009 we have an additional teacher, which allows the added bonus of being able to create smaller classes a number of times each week. By doing this individual abilities and needs are addressed, particularly in writing and maths.

Within the classroom all students are provided with a program which encourages them to deepen their understandings and add new knowledge. Group rotations once a week allow for teachers to use their strengths and interests also. In 2009 we have library, computer skills, drama and science being addressed in this way.

Camp is a major positive component of the year for both staff and students to get to know each other better. Our aim is to have alternate years attending a beach-based then country-based camp. Independence, facing challenges and bonding with everyone are the main gains of students attending camp.
