Parents are very much involved in the life of the school and regularly assist in the classrooms and in many other ways around the school. A co-operative relationship is developed between staff and parents and communication is ongoing, open and informed.
Area Information nights are held at the beginning of each year, Level newsletters that are sent out at the beginning of each term and during the year such programs as Parents as Tutors are offered to parents. In the course of the year other information sessions are also held to keep parents abreast of current initiatives at the school. Regular parent morning teas are held to engage in discussion and provide an opportunity for the parents to provide feedback to the school on a range of topics.
It's not all hard work. Why should the children have all the fun?
