We are delighted to share with our school community MWNPS’s outstanding results from the Department of Education’s 2019 Attitudes to School Survey, which our Year 4-6 students recently completed.
The Attitudes to School Survey gathers data to support student wellbeing, engagement, school improvement and planning in schools and is aligned with the Department’s Framework for Improving Student Outcomes (FISO). The survey measures are based on the best available evidence about what influences student outcomes.
Our results showed yet another great improvement in students’ attitudes and opinions towards school. We saw a positive improvement in all 19 domains which are categorised under ‘Excellence in Teaching and Learning’ or ‘Positive Climate for Learning’, a sample of which is shared in our recent School Newsletter. These results are reflective of the efforts of our outstanding staff team, with a prime focus in delivering high quality education to all students in a caring and nurturing environment.
