As part of our Inquiry Unit ‘Past and Present’ the Year 2 students will be visiting The Melbourne Museum on Friday 23rd February 2024. 
We will be participating in an educational program and exploring the museum in class groups while learning about the concept of change and continuity: how life was in the past and how it is different today.

Students will travel to and from The Melbourne Museum by bus, leaving Mount Waverley North Primary School at 9:00am sharp and returning at approx. 3:00pm. In order to make the most of the day students MUST be at school by 8:30am to ensure adequate time before leaving. 

The cost of the excursion is covered by the excursion levy – payment is therefore not required.

Due to limited storage space at the Museum the Year 2 students must bring, a labelled plastic bag with their brain food, recess & lunch and a labelled drink bottle. These will be stored in large containers until needed.

All students must be in full school uniform and wearing comfortable walking shoes (eg. runners).
